Monday, 1/2: Winter Break – NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, 1/3: Winter Break – NO SCHOOL
Wednesday, 1/4: Baseline Assessment
Today you are taking the third baseline assessment of the year, but unlike last semester’s poetry baselines this semester’s baselines will be on informational texts. As always, make sure you annotate the handout as needed, and write an eleven-sentence paragraph that explains what point the author is trying to make, and how the author achieves his/her goal.
Due By End of Period Today:
- Baseline Assessment
Thursday and Friday, 1/5-1/6: Baseline Revision
We will spend the entire period revising our baseline assessments from the last class. We will analyze what makes a strong eleven sentence paragraph, and then you will have time in class to revise your baseline from yesterday.
